This summer, Saya returned to Japan for six unforgettable weeks, bringing 18 pop-up stores to life across the country. It was her first in-store appearance since COVID—six years in the making! Fans lined up to see her, turning each visit into a celebration filled with hugs, photos, and joy.

She brought her little one to Japan to experience the culture firsthand. Together, they joined a summer night festival—dancing in yukata (summer kimono), enjoying shaved ice, mingling with locals, and watching fireworks light up the sky. An extraordinary memory for a toddler to cherish.

After six years away, returning to Japan this summer felt extra special. Since it was Saya’s first time back in department stores after COVID, so many local fans were waiting to see her again. The energy was amazing—customers came not just to shop but to reconnect. We took countless photos and videos together, laughed, and even had little “girl chats” that made the moments feel so personal and heartwarming. It was more than just shopping; it felt like a reunion.
Looking ahead, we’re already so excited about what’s next. Our next store opening in Japan is planned for April 2026, and until then we’ll be busy behind the scenes. Fall and winter will be dedicated to design work, collaborating with store buyers for wholesale, and manufacturing the new collection. By the time spring arrives, we’ll be ready to return to Japan with brand-new designs fresh from New York City—and hopefully open even more stores than before!
